1. What Epic Beach Days is

Epic Beach Days gives the Florida Gulf Coast beaches we cover a Comfort score and grade (EPIC, GOOD, FAIR or CAUTION), built from public weather, marine, tide and hazard data. It also gives advice drawn from that data, such as sunscreen, umbrella and wind tips. You can look up a beach without an account. With a free account you can save up to 3 beaches and get hazard alert emails. Epic Beach Days Premium adds more (see section 5).

We describe the service as it works currently. It may change over time.

2. Not a safety service

Please read this part.

• Epic Beach Days passes on public information: red tide reports from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), rip current forecasts from the National Weather Service (NWS), and weather and marine forecasts. That information can be wrong, incomplete or late, and conditions at the beach can change quickly.
• Our scores, grades, advice and hazard alerts are there to help you plan. They are not a safety warning service, and they can't replace what you see at the beach.
• Conditions change. Always follow lifeguards and posted warnings. Official warnings, beach flags and lifeguards always come first, whatever our score says.
• A hazard alert email may arrive late, or not at all (for example if a source is late or an email is delayed). Don't rely on our alerts as your only warning.

3. Who can use it

• You must be 13 or older to use Epic Beach Days or create an account.
• To buy Premium you must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

4. Your account

• You sign in with an email link or with Google. Keep access to your email and Google account safe: anyone who can open your sign-in links can use your account.
• One account per person, please. Don't use someone else's email address.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Account menu (Delete account). Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information.

5. Epic Beach Days Premium

Premium is a paid subscription. Today it includes:

• Days 3–14 detailed forecast
• Hour-by-hour rain timing, with when to leave before evening rain
• SPF & reapplication plan
• Umbrella & tent wind + anchoring tips
• Tide safety level with child-safety warnings
• Smart insights: hot sand, offshore drift and wind-driven rip warnings
• Nearby beach comparison — see how close-by beaches score

Premium members can also save up to 5 beaches and get a weekly weekend email.

6. Payments, renewal and cancelling

• Prices are shown on the upgrade page before you pay, monthly or annual. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Prices don't include taxes. Where tax applies, it's added at checkout.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each month, or each year), and you're charged at each renewal until you cancel.
• If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before. The new price applies only from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before then and keep Premium to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Cancel anytime with Manage subscription. When you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again.
• Annual plans: we email you a reminder about 7 days before each annual renewal, so you have time to cancel if you want to.
• Deleting your account ends any subscription right away, with no further charges. It doesn't refund what you've already paid (see section 7).

7. Refunds

• Monthly plans: no refunds.
• Your first annual purchase: if you ask within 14 days of your first annual charge, we'll give you a full refund. Email support@epicbeachdays.com.
• Annual renewals: no refund after a renewal has been charged.
• Outages and data delays: we don't give automatic credits when the service or its data is down or late. If something unusual happens, email us and we'll look at it.
• Refunds go back to the way you paid, through Stripe. Refunds usually reach your account in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

8. Using Epic Beach Days fairly

Please don't:

• try to break, overload or get around the site's security or limits (including the limits on sign-in links and the contact form);
• copy or scrape the scores, forecasts or pages in bulk, or resell them;
• use the contact form or sign-in emails to send spam or to bother someone else;
• pretend to be someone else.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

9. Data, content and links

• Our content. The site, its design, the Comfort score and its wording belong to Epic Beach Days LLC. You may share links and screenshots for personal use.
• Data from others. Weather and marine data are by Open-Meteo, licensed under CC BY 4.0 (see our Data sources page). Tides come from NOAA, rip currents from the NWS and red tide from the FWC.
• Your photos. “Snap a beach day” photos are made on your device and never uploaded, so they stay yours. We don't receive them.
• Links to other sites. “Official page” links go to city, county or state park websites, and “Directions” opens Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze. We don't control those sites or apps and aren't responsible for them.

10. As is, with no guarantees

Epic Beach Days, including every score, grade, forecast, alert and piece of advice, is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise that it's accurate, complete, reliable, on time, or that the site will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows:

• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost money, such as trip costs, travel, bookings or lost revenue, even if a score or forecast turned out to be wrong.
• Our total liability for any claim about Epic Beach Days is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or, if you haven't paid us anything, $50.

Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we agree to those courts. If you have a problem, please email support@epicbeachdays.com first. Most things can be sorted out that way.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change matters, we'll tell signed-in users by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep using Epic Beach Days after a change, you accept the new Terms.
